THE GOATS
We started with Boer-cross nannies and have kept the best of those in order to supply area 4H-ers with goats for the local county fairs. This year they have been bred to Uphoff’s Bullet, an excellent example of fine conformation and traditional coloring. These kids* were born in January and several started life at a whopping 11 pounds. One of the bucklings has gained .5 lbs a day just on mother’s milk in his first 2 weeks.
